I’m a creative, quality-driven writer, editor and content specialist living in Bondi, NSW.
Over the past two decades, I’ve worked in journalism, publishing, content marketing and communications producing everything from print publications and iPad magazines to websites and marketing collateral for leading publishers, agencies, businesses and brands (and in a former life I worked up to account director level in advertising and direct marketing agencies).
In the process, I’ve picked up a pretty nifty set of skills. I’ve also learnt a thing or two about crafting quality content that’s 100% relevant to the people you’re talking to.
These days I apply these skills as a freelancer/contractor helping my clients engage their audiences more effectively across print, digital and social media channels. Sectors I’ve covered range from small business, entrepreneurialism, not-for-profit and government to health/wellbeing, parenting and travel. I’m particularly passionate about women’s issues and working with social purpose organisations to share their stories, broaden their reach and boost their impact.

- My journalism background has given me the ability to sniff out a story and the research skills to bring it to life in the most compelling way. Combined with a deep understanding of marketing, I know how to create content that really connects.
- I have high standards and pay great attention to detail – I deliver clean copy free of typos and grammatical errors (I have my years as a sub-editor to thank for that).
- I’m equally comfortable liaising with editors and content strategists as I am with business owners and department heads – I’ve held in-house and contract roles with publishers, agencies and organisations large and small.
- Over the years I’ve developed some pretty savvy client management skills, earning my stripes at places like Hardie Grant Media and King Content.
- I’m familiar with print production processes and digital content management systems, including being hands-on with InDesign and WordPress.
- I’m versatile. I’ve worked extensively for publishers and brands in the business and lifestyle sectors covering a diverse range of topics, and I’m able to adapt to a range of audiences and styles.
